Material & Manufacturing Process of Mill Finish Aluminum Profiles
Material:
Base Alloy: Primarily 6063 or 6061 aluminum, offering good strength and extrudability.
Surface State: Uncoated, retaining the raw metallic appearance post-extrusion.
Manufacturing Process:
Extrusion: Heat aluminum billets (~500°C) and force through a die to shape profiles.
Cooling: Rapidly quench with air/water to fix the microstructure.
Stretching: Straighten and relieve internal stresses.
Cutting & Inspection: Trim to length, check dimensional tolerance and surface defects (e.g., scratches, die lines).
application area
1、Industrial frame - equipment support, conveyor line guide rail, retains the original metal
2、texture; Basic building materials - temporary structure, simple enclosure, economical and practical;
3、 Deep-processed substrate - semi-finished products that need to be sprayed/oxidised later, with strong adaptability;
4、Functional components – radiators, mechanical parts, no coatings to interfere with thermal/electrical conductivity.
