materials and production process
materials:
Solar panel aluminium profiles are mainly made of 6063-T5 or 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, which has excellent mechanical properties (tensile strength ≥160MPa) and weather resistance, and its anodised film thickness can reach 10-25μm, ensuring long-term corrosion resistance in outdoor environments.
Magnesium, silicon and other elements are added to the raw materials to improve the strength, and the content of impurities such as iron and copper (< 0.35%) is strictly controlled to ensure the stability of moulding. Some high-end products will use powder coating or electrophoresis process to make the surface salt spray resistance test time more than 3000 hours.
production process:
The production process begins with the hot extrusion of the aluminium rod after heating to 480-520°C, and the complex section with clamping grooves and drainage holes is extruded in one go through a precision mould.
This is followed by in-line quenching (air/water cooling) and ageing treatment (175°C×8h) to increase hardness. After CNC precision cutting and lengthening, anodising (film thickness 15 μm) or spraying (fluorocarbon/PVDF coating) is carried out, and finally the hole is installed by CNC punching.
More than 20 tests are carried out by spectrometer, film thickness meter and other equipment to ensure that the dimensional tolerance (±0.1mm) and mechanical properties of the profile meet the requirements of IEC 61215 photovoltaic module standard.
