On June 16, Xinjiang Rongying Junfa New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. signed an investment agreement with Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone (Industrial Zone) (hereinafter referred to as Ganquanbao Economic Development Zone), Urumqi, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan to build a continuous recycling project of electrolytic aluminum in Ganquanbao Economic Development Zone.

The project uses core technology to efficiently recover fluorine, lithium, aluminum and other elements in electrolytic aluminum waste, of which the fluorine recovery rate can reach more than 85%, and the lithium extraction rate can reach 75%, which is 20% higher than the traditional process. It can extract 80,000 tons of aluminum fluoride and 5,000 tons of lithium carbonate annually, which is equivalent to saving 300,000 tons of raw ore mining. Ma Rong'e, general manager of Xinjiang Rongying Junfa New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., said that the first phase of the project will invest 200 million yuan, lease 14,000 square meters of factory buildings in Ganquanbao Economic Development Zone, build new production lines and supporting environmental protection facilities, and build an annual processing line for 120,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum solid waste. After processing, it will produce 100,000 tons of recycled aluminum fluoride, 5,000 tons of lithium carbonate and 50,000 tons of snow melting agent. The first phase of the project is expected to start construction in July this year and is scheduled to be put into production in October. The project is scheduled to reach full production in July 2028, and the annual output value is expected to reach 2.8 billion yuan after it is put into production.
